ABOUT US

As a behaviour and developmental specialist, Sparks is dedicated to understanding and supporting children's developmental needs through evidence-based assessments.

Sparks evolved in 2018 after completion of further post graduate studies where I identified a need across sectors working with children, a comprehensive service with a broad cross-sector understanding of safety, quality and behaviour.

With just short of 40 years of experience in working with children across professional sectors, including early childhood, childcare, teaching, Kindergarten, child protection, child and adolescent mental health and intensive family support; I have a broad and comprehensive experience, as a developmental specialist and behaviour analyst. I bring a wealth of experience to understanding children's needs and providing timely support.

My practice is grounded in current best practice and an evidence-based. I am consistent in utilising scientific methods and accurate observations to evaluate behaviour and development, ensuring a thorough understanding each child's unique circumstances.

By collaborating closely with families and education providers, Sparks creates tailored support plans that address both behavioural and developmental challenges. Including unique workshops from the front line of teaching, child protection, mental health and behaviour support. My strengths is in my ability to integrate research with practical, individualised insights providing comprehensive support that empowers children and their families.

My priority is ensuring the information provided to support children, reflects the individual needs of each child and family.
